Rohan Harrison

Besides their music, I've always been impressed by Extortion cover artworks and T shirts, every single one of them. All those designs are done by Rohan Harrison, the singer of this angry Aussie band.
Strongly influenced by work of legendary Raymond Pettibone, Rohan Harrison developed recognizable  brutal and sick style which you just have to love. As he said in one interview that he "ends up carried away and drawing chainsaws and axes into everything". It's surely more than that.

Anyway, he hadn't been posting any new works on his blogs until recently, which reminded me of Extortion again and of course, to post some of artwork he did for the band here...

Chris Bavaria photography

I posted before some posters done by Evan Wivell from Mindset and now it's time for another guy from this great hardcore band, Chris Bavaria, who is a photographer.

Bill Hauser

Bill Hauser is the guy who made my all time favorite T shirt design:

so I although I plan to interview him, I just couldn't wait to at least mention him here...

He also did the cover art for Catch Your Breath 7" by Our Turn, one of my favorite hardcore bands...

Of course, these are only my personal favorites. Looking generally at his artwork, there is a lot of truly amazing and unique stuff.

Vasil Vasev

Vasil Vasev is an artist from Bulgaria who lives in Serbia. He does great commercials, book covers, calendars, T shirt designs, but the stuff I find the most interesting are gig posters, mostly for the shows in Serbia and Bulgaria...
